This report summarizes the findings of a 2006 survey of U.S. colleges and universities on their policies and practices in furthering internationalization. It is the second in a series, following a 2001 study, and compares data from the two years when possible. These studies are the only comprehensive source of data on internationalization in U.S. higher education institutions of all sectors.

In addition to this report, ACE also offers a series of programs on good practice in campus internationalization including: At Home in the World: Educating for Global Connections and Local Commitments; Internationalization Laboratory; Internationalization Collaborative; Leadership Network for International Education.
